Hello... My name is Erik, and I'm an addict.  The hardest words ever muttered in front of people.  It goes from muttering those words, to stating the words, to saying the words, and then proclaiming the words!  I've been in recovery since April 30, 2012, and the following posts to come share my struggles, joys, and every day ups and downs of being an addict in recovery from drugs and sex.  The posts may contain triggers for some, and for that I apologize, but I will not hold back in my thoughts, feelings, and experiences.  I hope that my journey gives strength for those who need it, hope for those who have lost it.  I hope that it inspires someone struggling with an addiction to sex, drugs or alcohol to get help, and I hope that it serves as a reminder for those with clean time where they came from and what its like at the beginning of the long road of recovery.  I hope this blog does something, if only allows myself a therapeutic means to process.  Above all, I just hope...
